West Moreton Zone Rally

On Tuesday 29th of April, 2014 approximately 51 ladies (and a couple of men) gathered together at Trinity Lutheran Church, Lowood for the 47th Annual West Morton Zone Rally Day. Throughout the day everyone was encouraged to ‘put on the armour of God’ by Pastor Matthew Schultz and Pastor Milton Fritsch in their devotions. The visual display for the day was also a great photo op to be seen wearing the Armour of God.

Speaker, Aaron Glover from Lutheran Youth of Queensland delivered a very inspirational message to us about the way LYQ has grown over the years and the exciting future plans for LYQ. It was very encouraging to hear of how important the support of LWQ has been to LYQ over the years. Aaron also showed a video presentation of just how beneficial our support has been to the campers at Kid’s Camp. We learnt how inter-generational relationships in our congregations and Christian communities are a key aspect of young people’s growth and how the youth of today yearn to be a part of church life combined with all different age groups.

Overall the day was such a wonderful combination of catching up with friends, yummy food, learning and worship to God for all the wonderful gifts he gives to us!
